1. The service

Rewado lets you earn rewards by taking part in market research:

• Data-sharing tasks: you connect a Gmail mailbox so we can study the promotional emails brands send you, and/or you upload promotional messages and screenshots. With your consent we anonymise this and turn it into persona-level market and CRM insights for business customers.
• Non-data-sharing tasks: downloading apps, surveys, testing services, where we may receive affiliate/partner fees that fund rewards. These are available without research consent.

2. Connecting Gmail

For data-sharing tasks you connect a Gmail mailbox using a Google app-specific password (or Google OAuth once available). The credential is stored encrypted on your device and used to read promotional emails only, on your device. You can disconnect anytime in Settings; access ends immediately. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Research participation and payment

• You earn points for completed tasks, redeemable for vouchers/rewards. Unredeemed points expire at the end of the third calendar year following the year in which they were earned (aligning expiry with the regular limitation period, §195 BGB). Before points expire we remind you in-app and by email in good time so you can redeem them.
• Your participation in research is the consideration for the rewards (a contract for the supply of digital content against personal data, BGB §327 ff. / EU Digital Content Directive). Consent to the market-research + profiling processing is required to earn from data-sharing tasks.
• Because the marketing we study includes gambling & betting brands, the in-app consent includes a separate, explicit consent to special-category (Art. 9 GDPR) gambling data. This consent is required to use Rewado: it is a dedicated checkbox you must actively tick, and if you withdraw it your research participation is paused until you provide it again.
• You may withdraw consent at any time ("Stop research" in Settings) — doing so opts you out of all brands and ends the earning relationship going forward; points you have already earned are not affected. You can opt back in to brands individually.

4. Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

As a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons (§§312g, 355 BGB, applied to contracts where you provide personal data as counter-performance). The German text below is legally operative for consumers in Germany; the English is a courtesy translation. (Draft — the statutory model's safe-harbour attaches only to unmodified wording; this data-as-consideration adaptation is pending legal sign-off.)

Widerrufsbelehrung

Widerrufsrecht. Sie haben das Recht, binnen vierzehn Tagen ohne Angabe von Gründen diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen. Die Widerrufsfrist beträgt vierzehn Tage ab dem Tag des Vertragsabschlusses.

Um Ihr Widerrufsrecht auszuüben, müssen Sie uns (Axess Intelligence GmbH, Pilgrimstraße 6, 50674 Köln, Deutschland, E-Mail: support@rewado.io) mittels einer eindeutigen Erklärung (z. B. ein mit der Post versandter Brief oder eine E-Mail) über Ihren Entschluss, diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen, informieren. Sie können dafür das beigefügte Muster-Widerrufsformular verwenden, das jedoch nicht vorgeschrieben ist. Zur Wahrung der Widerrufsfrist reicht es aus, dass Sie die Mitteilung über die Ausübung des Widerrufsrechts vor Ablauf der Widerrufsfrist absenden.

Folgen des Widerrufs. Wenn Sie diesen Vertrag widerrufen, beenden wir Ihre Teilnahme an der Marktforschung und stellen die auf dieser Grundlage erfolgende Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten für die Zukunft ein. Da Sie für die Teilnahme kein Entgelt gezahlt haben, sind von uns keine Zahlungen zu erstatten. Bereits gutgeschriebene Punkte bleiben Ihnen erhalten. Haben Sie verlangt, dass die Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten während der Widerrufsfrist beginnen soll, so berührt dies Ihr Widerrufsrecht nicht; ein Wertersatz in Geld ist mangels Geldleistung nicht geschuldet. Wir löschen bzw. anonymisieren die auf dieser Grundlage verarbeiteten Rohinhalte nach Maßgabe unserer Datenschutzerklärung.

Right of withdrawal (English courtesy translation)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise it, you must inform us (Axess Intelligence GmbH, Pilgrimstraße 6, 50674 Cologne, Germany, email: support@rewado.io) of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter by post or an email). You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. Sending your communication before the period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, we end your participation in the research and stop the associated processing of your personal data for the future. As you paid no money, we owe no refund; points already credited remain yours. If you asked processing to begin during the withdrawal period, this does not affect your right to withdraw, and no monetary value compensation is owed. We delete or anonymise the raw content processed on this basis per our Privacy Policy.

4a. Starting a task before the withdrawal period ends

By starting a data-sharing task before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you expressly request that we begin the contractual service (processing your data for the research) during that period. For a digital service you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once we have fully performed; for digital content, that it lapses once performance has begun — in each case after this express consent and acknowledgment (§356(4)–(5) BGB). This does not affect your separate right to withdraw your data-protection consent at any time under §3. (Draft — pending legal sign-off; an in-app §356a "withdrawal button" may also be required.)

5. What business customers get

Business customers receive only anonymised or aggregated, persona-level insights. They never receive your raw uploads, your mailbox contents, or access to your Rewado account.

6. Your obligations

• One account per person; provide accurate information.
• No VPNs/tools to circumvent eligibility or location restrictions.
• No fake, manipulated, or AI-generated submissions.
• You confirm you have the right to upload the communications you submit and that they are genuine.

7. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Rewado. You are responsible for your account security, including the Gmail app password stored on your device.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, or legal reasons. Where we terminate for cause, we may withhold or cancel points obtained through the conduct giving rise to termination (for example fraudulent, manipulated, or ineligible submissions). Points you earned legitimately and unconnected to that conduct are not forfeited by termination alone, and any forfeiture is proportionate to the breach. You may close your account anytime; see the Privacy Policy for what deletion erases.

9. Statutory rights, liability & governing law

Statutory conformity and updates. As Rewado is a digital service you receive against the provision of personal data, your statutory rights under §§327 ff. BGB apply, including the conformity requirements (§§327d–327e BGB) and our update obligation (§327f BGB). Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes those rights, and no general warranty disclaimer applies to them.

Liability. We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health, for intent (Vorsatz) and gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and to the extent we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence (einfache Fahrlässigkeit) we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht) — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on whose observance you may regularly rely — and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limitations also apply in favour of our legal representatives and vicarious agents.

Your indemnity. You are responsible for the content you upload and for confirming you are entitled to share it (§6). You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your culpable breach of these Terms or from content you were not entitled to upload, to the extent you are responsible for the breach. This does not apply where the claim arises without fault on your part.

Governing law. These Terms and your use of Rewado are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with habitual residence in another EEA state, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation).

Consumer dispute resolution. Axess Intelligence GmbH is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) within the meaning of §36 VSBG.

Legal notice. Provider information pursuant to §5 DDG (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz; successor to §5 TMG) is set out in our Impressum.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes require you to re-accept the new version in-app before continuing to use Rewado.
